The campsite rules and regulations are available at reception. It is imperative that animals are kept on a lead and that they do not wander around the campsite on their own. When you arrive, we will ask you for your pet's health record with up-to-date vaccinations. For the holidays, don't hesitate to register your pet with us. telephone number portable on the animal's collar.
Outdoor showers are available in sanitary block 1 for your pets. Toutounettes" (plastic bags) are available at the campsite entrance.
Last but not least, make sure your pet doesn't annoy your neighbours. A little animal that spends all its time barking, cackling or hissing can quickly become annoying, and that can backfire on you!

Pet regulations
In France, all dogs and cats must be identified if they are sold or adopted from a shelter. Pets born from a litter of domestic animals must be microchipped by a vet. This chip (or tattoo) is compulsory if you wish to travelling with your pet outside France (there is a tolerance for animals tattooed before 3/07/2011). But above all, it's a guarantee that your pet will be found if it gets lost. Nearly 100,000 pets are found each year thanks to this marking. If you lose your pet, notify the national identification database: www.i-cad.fr.

Your pet's vaccinations
First of all, make sure that the your pet's vaccinations are up to date, particularly the rabies vaccination, which is compulsory from the age of 3 months. Don't forget to take your health record with you, which proves that your rabies vaccination is up to date. The anti-rabies vaccination is valid 21 days after the first injection, and less than a year after the last injection, so it's a good idea not to miss the booster date.
When you take your pet with you, remember to administer the usual anti-parasite treatments for fleas, ticks and worms. If you wish to travelling with your dog or cat in the European Union, it will have to meet all these conditions: be over three months old, be identified by an electronic chip, be vaccinated against rabies, and carry the European pet passport, the only document that certifies rabies vaccination.
Some European countries add other restrictive conditions, so check with tourist offices. Finally, beware of regions where leishmaniasis, which can be fatal for dogs, is rife. In France, it is mainly found in regions with a Mediterranean climate. To find out more, consult your vet.
